In mid-2025, Google disclosed a serious security incident: threat actors infiltrated one of its corporate Salesforceinstances that held business contact records related to small- and medium-sized customers. The attacker group behind the incident is widely believed to be ShinyHunters (also tracked under aliases UNC6040 / UNC6240).
