73a How AI Is Cracking the Front Door of Digital Security.
Criminal hackers now use artificial intelligence to dismantle login systems once deemed secure.
1. The Problem with Old-School Logins
The digital world still leans on a broken system—usernames and passwords first invented in the 1960s. Even with upgrades like 2FA and MFA, the system has become more complex without becoming more secure. AI-driven tools now bypass these barriers in seconds. Passwords can be cracked using generative AI trained on breached datasets. One-time codes can be intercepted, deepfakes can fool biometric scans, and session hijacking is on the rise. Worse, most login systems assume that if credentials are presented correctly, the user must be valid—ignoring context and behavior. In short, legacy logins were built for a static threat model. Today’s AI adversaries are anything but static.
